I’m interested in the ambiguity of the human body as a recognizable shape: all persons on
earth have a body, but we certainly perceive it differently.
In this way, cloths and patterns appears, for me, to be the most relevant materials to work with.
Playing with their scales, experimenting with different matters, trying to understand their relationship to
the space they occupy, is an attempt to understand the relationship between garments and human body.
It gives me the possibility to work with what is covered and what can be revealed.
Cloths, ceramic, plaster, latex, linen are materials with their own vulnerability, their own potential. Their
properties help me to express the fragility of the body. Those materials take the shape of sculptural
installation or videos. Displayed on the floor, the walls, and the ceiling, it helps me to get closer to the
human body as an entity and understand its function and role in a certain context.
